Yes. I totally agree. Confirmation bias and readymade finger-pointing, name-calling social content are fanning the flames. I actually just wrote a piece on this and the opportunity to unite vs. dig in heels and continue to hurl lazy insults.

I’d also recommend a book called The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt. It explores just this divide and is very good.
